VALRICO, Fla. – The Warner University cross country opened their 2010 season with a sixth place finish by the men and a ninth place finish for the women at the University of Tampa Early Bird Classic Friday afternoon at the Sydney-Dover Trails in Valrico, Fla. Meet host University of Tampa won the event on the men’s and women’s side.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Maxime Copley has been named The Sun Conference Champion of Character of the Week for the week ending February 19.  Copley is a four sport athlete at Warner participating in women’s soccer, cross country, tennis and track and field.  Even with all the athletic commitments, Copley has maintained a 3.7 gpa

VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Warner University women’s cross country 2009 season has officially come to a close as All-Conference runner Tranese Boston represented Warner in the NAIA 30th Annual Women’s National Championships today (Nov. 21) held at the Fort Vancouver Historical Site.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that a total of 254 women’s cross country runners have been named 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Women’s Cross Country Scholar-Athletes and Warner University had two representatives named as Melissa Darr and Rhonda Rininger earned the honor.

BABSON PARK, Fla. – Senior Tranese Boston qualified for her third consecutive NAIA National Cross Country Championships as she led the Warner University women’s cross country team to a third place finish in the Sun Conference Cross Country Championships.  The men’s team also raced well as they finished fourth in the Conference Championships.

DELAND, Fla. – The Warner University men and women’s cross country teams competed at the Sodexho Stetson Hatter Invitational held at the Sperling Sports Complex in Deland, Fla., over the weekend.  In the men’s division East Tennessee State University took home top honors while the University of North Florida captured first place in the women’s division.

Softball
In the pivotal game three of the conference series with #15 Savannah College of Art & Design, Helms made her first conference start and earned her first conference win after pitching a complete game gem where she held the Bees to only one run.
Women's Track & Field
Pope earned her third consecutive The Sun Conference Field Athlete of the Year Award after helping the Royals finish second in The Sun Conference Track & Field Championships. She totaled 32 of the women's team's 175.5 points after winning the Shot Put, finishing second in the Javelin Throw and Discus Throw and third in the Hammer Throw.
