DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Sun Conference has announced its 2009-10 Academic All-Conference honorees and Warner University placed 47 student-athletes on their respective Academic All-Conference teams. The conference recognized student-athletes who represent all 12 The Sun Conference institutions.

LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Warner University men’s soccer team recently wrapped up their annual residential camp and to say it was a success is an understatement. The camp was priced well below competition at only $200 per camper, allowing participants who may not have been able to afford other residential camps to gain the experience of attending a collegiate residential camp.

LAKE WALES, Fla. - The Warner University men’s soccer team is proud to announce the signing of Russell Miller of Royal Palm Beach, Florida.  Miller plays on the perennial State Cup Final Four Wellington Wave soccer club and attends Royal Palm Beach High School where he was a two-year team captain and was coached by Dan Blasky.

The Warner University men’s soccer team is proud to announce the signing of Mario Alvarez Jr. of Arcadia, Florida.  Alvarez joins Warner as the first known Desoto High School boy’s soccer player to go onto collegiate soccer as a scholarship player.

The Warner University men’s soccer team is proud to announce the signing of Jose Zamudio of Palmetto, Florida.  He joins Warner after playing for Palmetto High School, one of the top high school programs in Florida.

Athletes of the Week
Women's Track & Field
Pope earned her third consecutive The Sun Conference Field Athlete of the Year Award after helping the Royals finish second in The Sun Conference Track & Field Championships. She totaled 32 of the women's team's 175.5 points after winning the Shot Put, finishing second in the Javelin Throw and Discus Throw and third in the Hammer Throw.
Softball
In the pivotal game three of the conference series with #15 Savannah College of Art & Design, Helms made her first conference start and earned her first conference win after pitching a complete game gem where she held the Bees to only one run.
