The Warner University track and field family expanded by four this weekend as head coach Emperatriz Gonzalez announced the signing of Sakeema McCray (Largo High School), Wadson Meme (Dunbar High School), Tavius Ferguson (Miami Coral Park High School), Shaniqua Pass (Clewiston High School), Christopher Louis (Upperroom Christian), David Gordon (Upperroom Christian) and Brandy Gordon (Palmetto High School) to her 2010-11 recruiting class.

MARION, Ind. – The Warner University track & field team began action in the 59th Annual Men’s and 30th Annual NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships today (May 27) at the Outdoor Sports Complex on the Indiana Wesleyan University campus. Manolitha Joseph highlighted the Royals day of competiton as she was the lone Warner representative to qualify for the semiinals round.

Athletes of the Week
Softball
In the pivotal game three of the conference series with #15 Savannah College of Art & Design, Helms made her first conference start and earned her first conference win after pitching a complete game gem where she held the Bees to only one run.
Women's Track & Field
Pope earned her third consecutive The Sun Conference Field Athlete of the Year Award after helping the Royals finish second in The Sun Conference Track & Field Championships. She totaled 32 of the women's team's 175.5 points after winning the Shot Put, finishing second in the Javelin Throw and Discus Throw and third in the Hammer Throw.
