DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Warner University men’s volleyball team closed out their season with a 3-1 (30-28, 28-30, 20-30, 28-30) loss to #3 seed and tournament host Clarke College (Iowa) in the third place match of the MAMVIC East Tournament Saturday afternoon to finish fourth in the postseason tournament. The Royals close out the season 9-16 while the Crusaders improve to 25-11.

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The fifth-seeded Warner University men’s volleyball team snapped their seven-game skid at the right time as they led off the MAMVIC East Tournament with a victory over #4 seed Siena Heights University (Mich.) 3-1 (30-26, 22-30, 30-23, 30-23) to advance to the second round of the tournament where they were defeated 3-1 (30-23, 18-30, 20-30, 23-30) by #1 seed St. Ambrose University (Iowa).

Women's Track & Field
Pope earned her third consecutive The Sun Conference Field Athlete of the Year Award after helping the Royals finish second in The Sun Conference Track & Field Championships. She totaled 32 of the women's team's 175.5 points after winning the Shot Put, finishing second in the Javelin Throw and Discus Throw and third in the Hammer Throw.

In the pivotal game three of the conference series with #15 Savannah College of Art & Design, Helms made her first conference start and earned her first conference win after pitching a complete game gem where she held the Bees to only one run.
