Final Results
SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Warner University men's golf team wrapped up their 2009 fall schedule with a 12th place finish at the Wilmington Island Club Intercollegiate hosted by Savannah College of Art and Design. The host team, SCAD, took home team first place honors with a three-round score of 853 (286, 276, 291) putting them at 1-over for the tournament. Loren Bunting, also from SCAD, was the top individual scorer posting a three round 208 (72, 65, 71) good enough for 5 under par.
The Royals team consisting of
Matt Alwin,
Adrian Kibsey,
Ian Ross,
Austin Robillard and
Chase Highley finished with a three round score of 971 (315, 322, 334).
Alwin led the way shooting a 233 (72, 78, 83) and was followed closely by Kibsey's 234 (80, 75, 79).
Ian Ross shot a 240 (78, 81, 81),
Austin Robillard finished with a 264 (85, 88, 91) and
Chase Highley rounded out the Royals scoring with a 278 (90, 92, 96).
The men's team will now turn their attention to the Spring for what will be a very competitive season.
