LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Warner University men’s volleyball team added more depth to the setter position this season with the signing of 6’2 setter Adrian Kibsey of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Prior to joining the Royals, Kibsey was a three-year varsity starter for Vincent Massey Collegiate High School.  In his sophomore and junior campaigns, he was the starting setter, and as the captain his senior year he moved to right side hitter to help balance the team.  The move proved to be successful as he was chosen as a member of the Provincial All-Star Team and four tournament all-star teams that season.

Kibsey also played four seasons for the Bison’s Volleyball Club that was the 2004-under14 Provincial Champions and 2005-under15 Provincial and Open National Champions. In the 2006 club season, he played for the Red River College under18 team.

While at Vincent Massey, Kibsey was a three-sport athlete, also playing Golf and Basketball where he was a captain for both squads his senior year and earned several honors in each sport.

Kibsey is also a member of the Warner University men’s golf team.  He is the son of Barry and Rhonda Kibsey and has an older brother, Brendan and younger sister, Alexandria.
