The loss closes out the Royals season with a 10-6-1 mark while the Bees improve to 12-3-2 and advance to the conference finals.

The first half showcased a strong defensive effort from the #2 seed Bees and #3 seed Royals as both teams failed to find the net going in to the break. However, the Bees were able to break the stalemate in the second half with a goal in the 69th minute. The Bees extended the lead to 2-0 in the 82nd minute and added a third goal in the waning minutes to put the match out of reach.

The Bees outshot the Royals 13-4, with the Royals only getting off two shots in each half and Daniel Scully registering the only shot on goal.  Goalkeeper Jonathan Romero started 90 minutes in goal with four saves.
