Bonalewicz, a four-year varsity player for Northside Christian School plays shortstop for the Mustangs where she has earned the Team MVP honor four consecutive years. She has also helped lead the Mustangs to three Bay Conference titles. Bonalewicz is also a member of the successful South Florida Mini-Bulls travel team where she plays with Nicolette Hopps, another 2011 signee. This year she was selected to the 2009 Rising Stars Showcase Tournament Team.

Ortiz, an outfielder for Timber Creek High School, has helped the Wolves to a successful run these past two seasons where they were Class 6A Metro and District Champions in 2008 and 2009.  In the 2009 season, she earned All-Metro 2nd Team honors for her play in the outfield. As a freshman, she was also named the junior varsity team MVP in 2007. Ortiz’ skills are not only limited to the softball field; she is a published author of a children’s book and she earned the 2009 Classroom Star Presented by Embarq.
