LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Warner University athletics department will host several sports camps this summer including camps for girls’ soccer, softball, baseball, basketball, boys’ soccer, and boys and girls volleyball.

The Warner camp season begins with the women’s soccer day camp hosted by Warner’s women soccer program, May 10 – June 5. The camp will take place Tuesday evenings through Friday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. If interested contact head coach Nelson Ramirez at wsoccer@warner.edu

Softball head coach Shawn Gary will host his annual Softball Camp June 11 - June 25. The camp consists of a Day Camp where participants will work on fielding, hitting, pitching and catching as well as a Team Camp, where teams will also work on fielding, hitting, pitching, and catching along with base running, game strategy and there will be scrimmages and team play and tournaments. The camp also has a residential feature where campers can stay on campus for the week and live the Warner University dorms. If interested download the registration form here.

Another staple for the camp season is the Baseball camp hosted by baseball head coach Jeff Sikes. Sikes’ camp runs from Monday, June 14 - Friday June 18. If interested contact Coach Sikes at jeff.sikes@warner.edu.

The Warner University men’s basketball program puts on one of the most comprehensive basketball camps in the state as head coach and camp director Sean Hanrahan along with assistant coach and co-director Donnie Arey have established one of the best and affordable team and individual camps in the state. The Sean Hanrahan Team and Individual Development Camps consist of two sessions; the first is June 20-23 for high school teams, each team has the decision to stay overnight or to commute. The second session is an Individual Skills Camp for boys and girls in the age range of 6-14 and will take place June 28 – July 2. For more information, access the brochure here.

Men’s Soccer head coach Kurt Bienias will host the Warner University Men’s Soccer Team Camp June 27 – July 1. The  Team Camp is a residential camp for teams; it is the most affordable team soccer camp in Florida. For more information on the team camp, contact Coach Bienias at kurt.bienias@warner.edu.

New volleyball head coach Sergio Rios will close out the athletics summer camp season with his boys and girls volleyball residential camps. Coach Rios will host the girls first, July 11 - 17 followed by the boys July 18 - 24. For more information on the volleyball camps, contact Coach Rios at Sergio.rios@warner.edu

Mark St. Fort
Men's Basketball

Mark St. Fort has been named the Warner University Athlete of the Week for games played Jan. 23-29.  St. Fort helped the No. 23 ranked men’s basketball team to a 1-1 week in The Sun Conference play.  Against No. 2 Northwood University, St. Fort scored nine points with six rebounds in a tough 82-58 loss to the Seahawks.  Then on Saturday night, St. Fort had a monster game against Florida Memorial University.  The Royals overcame a 43-38 halftime deficit defeating the Lions 82-74.  St. Fort’s second half performance helped lift the Royals’ offense; the Wauchula, Fla. native tallied 25 points in the second half.  The junior finished the game with 29 points and 12 rebounds to record the double-double.

Ethan  Lovell
Baseball

Ethan Lovell has been named the Warner University Athlete of the Week for games played Jan. 23-29.  Lovell helped the Royals baseball squad to a season opening split at Webber International University on Saturday (Jan. 28).  The Royals dropped the first game of the doubleheader 6-2 but rallied to take the second game 5-2.  Lovell got his senior season off on the right foot, batting 4-for-7 (.571) in both games.  The Lithia, Fla. native had a double and a triple while also scoring three runs.  Starting in centerfield for the Royals, Lovell recorded five put-outs as well.
